Film Transfer to DVD
What is the best way to preserve my
cherished home movies?
We recommend that you transfer your film, tape, files etc to
a DVD. As an optional safeguard, we strongly suggest an extra archive copy on a duplicated DVD which Coastlife Digital can
also arrange.
Can I add audio to silent movies?
Yes, there is a selection of standard options, or we can create
custom soundtracks.We can also add voiceover, photo's, flash, transitions, interactive menus, effects and text or subtitles.
What is Coastlife Digitals process
for converting?
Video editing is via professional grade Adobe/Pinnacle/Avid/Ulead
systems with the film transfer process made via a professional 3ccd Telecine system that will give superior quality images
from Super 8 (with & without audio). This process uses cold illumination that means your precious film is always safe
from heat damage. Coastlife Digital also use high quality encoders and Taiyo Yuden Media to ensure that your final product
will be of the highest quality. Conversion of analogue video media is achieved by Sony advanced DVD Direct technologies.
