If you are the copyright holder or the work is in the public domain there are no restrictions. Coastlife Digital does not transfer copyrighted video as no blanket license exits for this. Copyright material will ONLY be duplicated for the copyright holder or with authorised permission of the copyright holder. Where applicable an approriate letter of authorisation must accompany the master DVD/Electronic file/CD/LP/Audio Cassette tape. In order to comply with intellectual property right laws, regulations and practices Coastlife Digital, requires that for copyright material a copyright Letter of Authorization should be submitted, and signed by an authorized person. This letter must be supplied to Coastlife Digital at time master materials are submitted for duplication.

What tapes,media or films does Coastlife Digital convert?

We specialize in 35 mm slides, Photographs, Negatives, Super8 film, VHS,VHS-C,Beta Video, DV, Hi 8, to be converted to DVD,VCD,CD, Mobile media devices (MPEG4 etc) or Video Tape (VHS). Coastlife digital can also transcode between many digital formats.

What is the best way to preserve my cherished 35mm slides or negatives?

We recommend that you transfer your 35mm slides and negatives to a DVD or CD. With our 35mm high resolution(up to 7200 x 7200 dpi) scanners we can save your precious memories to digital format and make any necessary repairs and then transferring to a DVD or CD disk or using it in a photo show. As an optional safeguard, we strongly suggest an extra archive copy on a duplicated DVD/CD which Coastlife Digital can also arrange.

Can I add audio to photo shows?

Yes, there is a selection of standard options of royalty free music, or we can create custom soundtracks.We can also add voiceover, photo's, flash, transitions, interactive menus, effects and text or subtitles.

What is Coastlife Digitals process for converting VHS/VHS-c/Beta/Hi8 to DVD?

Conversion of analogue video media is achieved by Sony advanced DVD Direct technologies.Video editing is via a professional grade Adobe/pinnacle/Ulead system. Coastlife Digital also use high quality encoders and Taiyo Yuden Media to ensure that your final product will be of the highest quality.

What is Coastlife Digitals method of Duplication?

Coastlife Digital uses stand alone tower and robotic duplication / replication units that incorporate Sony technologies and create perfect duplicates quick allowing for fast turn around times.From one to thousands - no order is too small or big. We recomend duplication for orders from 1 - 1000 and replication for larger orders.

DVD/CD Printing

Coastlife Digital can thermal print your DVDs and CDs in single colour (Black, Red, Blue) direct to disk, or print ink jet 4800dpi multi colour photo quality images direct to disk using automated hi-resolution ink jet DVD/CD printers. We also can do full colour offset printing on replicated disks. Send us your artwork or we can design for you.
